Question: Am i allergic to it!?!?!?!?
I took some Robitussin which contained dextromethorphan and only dextromethorphan 15mg tsp as the active ingredient (i took 2 teaspoons) and now i feel a little tingly and my heart feels like it's working hard!. I have no idea if that's even like allergies or what, but it's happened the past few times i've taken it, as well!. Does it sound like i'm allergic!? should i be worried!? How rare is this allergy!? And what are the symptoms of a dextromethorphan allergy in general so I can compare!? thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best thing to do is to just calm down and not get overworked!. It probably is a side effect of the medicine!. An allergy would probably affect your body differently!. You may swell up or break out in hives or something similar if that is the case!.
My suggestion!? Drink a big glass of nice cool water and just relax!. If the symptoms don't go away or get worse, then make a phone call to the doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
