Question: Is there a doctor in the house!? SERIOUSLY, medical peeps help PLEASE!?
i have suffered with the following problems for around 6yrs, i have tested negative for ibs and celiacs diease as well as crohns and all the usual
my red blood cells too big (not too many or not enough)
bright red rectal bleeding - not in stool
diarrhea
nausea
stomach cramps
stomach distention
bloating
dramatic weight loss (5and a half stone)
indigestion
heartburn
feeling full
gas both ends
vomiting
tired
yellow skin
hair falling out (i only run my hand through it, brush it or wash it and theres handfuls) i have bald spots coming on my temples
all my docs do is give me indigestion tablets which dont work, i have been waiting almost 5 months now for an appointment at the hospital for a camera down my stomach,(only cus i changed doctors after getting no help)
nobody wants to help, i feel like they think im inventing it all
cancer runs in family (aunt with breast cancer) and mother died aged 36 due to lifelong illness (not sure what i was 14 at the time)
i am female, aged 30
please help, im desperate, nobody is listening and i have 2 small children to take care of
what the hell could this be!?

Hi, sorry to hear about all your problems, I know it sounds daft but you could just be very stressed! All your problems APART from the yellow skin (which points to the liver) could be down to stress, OR IBS, you cant actually do a test for IBS so Im not sure how you can say the test was negative! If all other tests are negative, THEN they ususally diagnose IBS! Also, you say you tested negative for coeliac, they can only diagnose coeliac when youve had a gastroscope which you say you havent had one yet!. They have to do a biopsy to diagnose that!. Theyve obviously done blood tests on you to put you on B12 and iron tablets, so youre obviously deficient in iron!. I had some of your symptoms, also the anaemia and they thought I had coeliac, so after a gastroscope it was negative!. BUT they did discover I had this bug called helicobacter pylori which was treated within two weeks, so thats worth thinking about!. If they did blood tests though they would have been able to see if there is anything wrong with your liver hence the yellow skin so Im not sure I understand exactly whats going on here, thats why Im worried that you maybe either very stressed or depressed!. I am with the other nurse, sounds like a liver problem!. All of these symptoms can be related to a liver malfunction whether it be hepatitis, cirrhosis (not just drinking causes this) etc!.!.!. When you went to the doctors before what did your blood work look like!.!.!. What were you liver enzymes count, your ammonia levels, etc!.!.!? Www@Answer-Health@Com
Sorry for your continued illness, but this aint the place for your question!. Ask for a second opinion at your doctors!. Dont be relying on random strangers giving you their "quack" advice!.

Sounds like it could have something to do with your liver (yellow skin) - you should be tested for hepatitis A, B, & C!. If you need to - get to an ER - they can get you admitted & see a gastrointestinal specialist!. Sounds like they need to do a lot more testing!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
