I also get acid reflux,

Your best bet is to stay away from foods that are high in acidity!. Drink plenty of water!.

I have never thrown up from my acid reflux!.!.in fact if I burp after eating that is sometimes when my acid reflux kicks in and I get a sharp pain!.

Like I said just drink plenty of WATER and stay away from things like pop, or anything else acidic!.

Also, after you eat dont jump up right away!. Stay sitting for a few minutes to give yourself time to digest!. When you do get up, stand up slowly and dont rush yourself (run or anything) for a good hour or two after eatingWww@Answer-Health@Com

Heartburn!. Also called acid indigestion, heartburn is a burning pain or discomfort that can move up from your stomach to the middle of your abdomen and chest!. The pain can also move into your throat!. Despite its name, heartburn doesn't affect your heart!.

Regurgitation!. Another common symptom of acid reflux is regurgitation -- or the sensation of acid backing up into your throat or mouth!. Regurgitation can produce a sour or bitter taste, and you may experience a "wet burp" or even vomit some contents of your stomach!.

Dyspepsia!. Many people with acid reflux disease also have a syndrome called dyspepsia!. Dyspepsia is a general term for stomach discomfort!. Symptoms of dyspepsia include:

Burping
Nausea after eating
Stomach fullness or bloating
Upper abdominal pain and discomfort

you may be getting a hiatus hernia, if so, you will benefit from elevating your bed at the head end!. put it up in two bricks or similar and have another pillow to keep you more upright!. This will hopefully keep the nausea at bay!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
