Strep Throat??........?!
Question: Strep Throat!?!?!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!?
I came back from camp yesterday and the day before yesterday I started feeling like i had a cough!. I think its now turned in to strep!. This will be the 3rd-5th time I've had strep this year and the last time I had it was in mid-June!. Should I get my tonsils removed!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Only a throat culture can tell you if you have strep or not!. However, even if it is not, many doctors will remove the tonsils of those that have reoccurring throat and ear infections!. I would seriously consider having your tonsils AND adenoids removed!. Go to an Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist!. They will not give you the run around about having it done like many regular MDs will!. I had it done will all of my kids because they had constant ear and throat infections, and it helped so much!. It is not a guarantee that you will never get another infection, but it will greatly reduce how many you get!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well I've had strep about 4 times!.
Most doctors will tell you they're useless and you should just get rid of 'em!.
I'm pretty sure they're for keeping you healthy ironically enough!.
It's really your decision!. But I know how irritating strep can get so make a decision quickly so you don't have to suffer much longer!
