Can someone tell me what this thing is that I have on my back?!
Question: Can someone tell me what this thing is that I have on my back!?
It's black, smooth and is underneath the skin, I've had it for over 10 years!. It protruded slightly (like half a smartie) until recently when it burst and all this white stuff came out, now the black thing has gone flat!. Now whenever I squeeze this black thing, the white stuff comes out!.
The black thing was tiny about the size of a raisin!.
I usually leave it alone for a couple of days to let the white stuff (which stinks by the way) build up, then I squeeze again!.
I know this whole thing sounds gross, but it looks ok now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The ABCD system may help you remember features that might be a symptom of melanoma:
* Asymmetry: One half of the abnormal area is different from the other half
* Borders: The lesion or growth has irregular edges!.
* Color: Color changes from one area to another, with shades of tan, brown, or black (sometimes white, red, or blue)!. A mixture of colors may appear within one lesion!.
* Diameter: The trouble spot is usually (but not always) larger than 6 mm in diameter -- about the size of a pencil eraser!.
Call your health care provider if you notice any symptoms of melanoma, particularly the following:
* If any existing skin growth changes in color, size, or texture
* If an existing lesion develops pain, swelling, bleeding, or itching
Consult a dermatologist!.

If the spot is BLACK, was under the skin but then grew above the skin too, then it sounds like melanoma which is an EXTREMELY dangerous form of cancer! Go to a doctor RIGHT NOW to have it seen! If it has spread to your lymph nodes (white gunk coming out) then you may be TERMINAL (dieing with no hope of cure) already! NO I AM NOT KIDDING!

Basically it's an oversized spot! !.!.!.!. the pore has enlarged and the skin has grown over but the pore is still extreting oil - so it becomes trapped under the skin !.!.!.!.!. the 'white stuff' is basically a build up !.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
id have to agree with the guy above this sounds much like melanoma!. IF it is an irregular shape or not a perfect circle then yes thats what id say it is!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
