Goose bumps: what causes them (physiology speaking)?!

Question: Goose bumps: what causes them (physiology speaking)!?
Answers:
When you get cold!.!.!. your body naturally tightens your skin cells together, pulling it closer to your body to seal in heat and closes up around hair follicals to keep the cold out!. Since it tightens around the hair and THAN drops, the skin around the hair is at a slightly higher level than the rest of the surface!.!.!. so it looks like bumps!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
