Question: What to do about a 13 (almost 14) year old with horrible allergies all week!?
Never anyhing like this before!. I'm the girl (just don't think I'm the mom) and don't know what I could do!. I've tried 2 medicines (Clairatin and Singular) and both didnt't work!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The nose is where allergic reactions start!. The best medication for this is a steroid nasal spray like nasonex!. Both my son and I are on this and we have had few allergic episodes if any since we have been on this!. Talk to your doctor about this medication!. It is a steroid, but its safe because it doesn't get in to the blood stream like oral steroids!. You have to use it every day to for it to work properly!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I will tell you the best thing I have ever done for allergies is go and see an allergist/ immunologist, they will do a test of your allergies to see what exactly they are!. After they figure out what you are allergic to as in mold, tree pollen or grass etc!. they will make a serum and you will have to go to the Docs once a week for a little while and get a shot and then after awhile you will have to go every few week for one!. What it does is it makes your body more immune to what you are allergic to!. I did it and it was amazing what effect it had in a very short time and I haven't had to touch allergy medicines since I started doing it!.
