Question: A question about Adenoids!?
Can your adenoids grow back!? My son had his removed when he was younger!.!.!. He is now 14 and is going to the ENT tomorrow for an evaluation!.!. Is the difference in age going to affect him!.!.!. Like he was 5ish when he had this done before!. Is it any worse at 14!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Some Adenoids regrowth is can occur but clinically significant growth causing symptoms is very rare!.Incomplete removal at first surgery is most important consideration!.
If symptoms of obstruction are persisting then nasopharyngoscopy ( visualization of nose & nasopharynx by endoscope ) can be done to know other nasal pathologies causing obstruction like tubal tonsiller hyperplasia!.
Revision Adenoidectomy is very rarely required and Just relax nothing to worry, second surgery even if required is safe but better that it is done by experienced otorhinolaryngologist - endoscopically under proper vision!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think they grow back!.
I had the procedure done when I was seven!. I'm now 16 and haven't had any problems since!.
