Question: Do i need another hiv test, the last possible time of infection was 14 months ago!?
i had a hiv test done about 2 months ago an it was negative!. The last possible time i could have got infected was around 12 months ago, but this was with my ex who i was with for 6 months previously!. But the last time i had sex with her was 11/ 12 months ago, Just want to know if i needed another one or is that conclusive!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Antibodies to HIV usually show up in tests within 3 months of infection, but in extremely rare cases, it can take up to 6 months for antibodies to show up!. If your last unprotected sex was 11-12 months ago, and your last test was 2 months ago, the test would be accurate!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it will put your mind at rest, go take another one!.
Its probably recommended that you do anyway!.
