I hope so! My wife married one!

If your diabetes is under control, then there is no reason why you shouldn't go on a date, see a movie, hear a concernt !. !. !. !.But if you go out to eat you need to watch your diet!

In fact, the subject of being diabatic doesn't need to come up UNTIL you do go out to eat!. then you need to be honest about your condition, and maybe suggest an alternative restaurant where you can get a salad and some broiled or roasted chicken!.

i dont think that should be a reason to date or not to date someone!. when you first meet someone you typically start with there name and what they do for a living!. you usually dont introduce yourself and say ohh by the way im diabetic lol!. its a life style pretty much!. if you were to date a hard core runner or something it would be the same way!. a diabetic has to eat right, take there meds, and exercise!. a runner has to exercise and eat right!. so about the only complication you may have is what you eat when you go to dinner!. a diabetic may have to watch carbs alot closer when ordering a meal!. meanwhile you may be a twig and can order a big greasy burger and fries!. so what lol!. my boyfriend does that to me all the time!. i found out i was type 2 diabetic 6 months ago!. ive been watching my carbs and trying to lose weight which is hard!. my boyfriend can eat what he wants with dessert lol!. so im sitting there at a restaurant ordering salads and diet sodas and he will order a big ole burger and chicken wings and a big beer lol!. gets annoying but its part of life lol!. he thinks its soo funny when i get excited now over ice cream and treats i cant eat so much anymore lol!. its our sunday thing to go get ice cream!. i use to eat ice cream daily lol!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You'll have plenty of dates, but it does take someone special to want to do more than that, and especially be willing to share their life with you!. Most people are feel it would be an inconvenience to be with someone with a disease, or they are afraid of what might happen to them!. I'm lucky to now have a husband who takes interest in my diabetes and how my blood glucose has been, yet lets me manage it and doesn't smother me!. He's not afraid of my future health issues, he'll deal with anything that comes!. That's what you want, trust me!. My first spouse was very nonchalant about the whole thing and never took any interest in my health or new developments!.!.!.not a good thing!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do you go around with a sign around your neck "I AM A DIABETIC" !? Would it bother you to date someone who has MS or any other chronic condition!? Www@Answer-Health@Com
