I just got back from camp with a person who had mono!. I have already had mono once before, can I get it again!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Mono will stay in your system always and you could get it again!. It's like people who have had chicken pox, the virus stays in the body and later in life they can get shingles!. People who have not had chicken pox don't get shingles because that virus is not there!. Mono stays with you also, I had it when I was in school and for my sake I stay away from people with it even though it was 14-15 years ago that I had it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
once you get mono it never ever leave your blood!. its virus so its with you for life!.!. liek the chicken pox!.!. However there is a chance a person who has had mono the symptoms will come back for a secound round!.!. but its unlikely!.!. alsoo you are still able to spread mono and not even know it although its unlikey there is still a chance at any given time cause its stil in your body you are able to pass it on!. Yes you can, but it won't be as bad since your body's immune system already faught off the full-on virus!. Like you can get the chicken pox twice or even get it after you get the vaccine, but it won't be as bad since your body recognizes the virus and can protect you against it mostly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
recurring mononucleosis can happen!. In most cases mononucleosis recurrence occurs without symptoms!. But in rare cases it seems that it is possible to have a mono relapse where you experience symptoms of mononucleosis again!. you never know! Www@Answer-Health@Com
Some say yes and some say no, so I guess it may be possible but not likely!. I believe that once you have had mono your body builds a resistance to it and makes it harder almost impossible to get it again!. I hope this has helped you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's actually not likely that you will get mono more than once, but it's not completely impossible!. (I know it's horrible!. I had mono once too!.)
