How long can you live with B-cell Lymphoblastic leukemia (B-PLL)?!

Question: How long can you live with B-cell Lymphoblastic leukemia (B-PLL)!?
Does anyone know who the longest survivor is with this variant of leukemia, or least those who have attained remission!? Does it hurt very much towards the end stage, when it becomes more aggressive!? How do you know if you're getting worse!? How do you know if your doctors are right or wrong about the prognosis/outcome!? Is there anyone who knows exactly what will happen!? What if the person is doing mantainence therapy on rituxan, would it buy a little more time!?
I'm sorry if my questions are really irritating, but what happens when it becomes refractory!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Housekeeping: B-PLL is chronic, B-cell prolymphocytic leukemia; lymphoblastic implies acute leukemia!.
Longest survivor is at least > 5 years, as I have one of those!. Could be much longer, but in general median survival for PLL is 3 years!.
Major cause of death is infection; does not have to be painful!.
Diagnosis is confirmed by blood/bone marrow studies and generally is very straightforward!.
Doctors can always be wrong about the outcomes; we are more likely to be correct than laypeople, but we are not omniscient!.
PLL can respond to rituximab, and may prolong survival some!.
When refractory, the disease will inexorably progress, with increasing counts, liver and spleen size, fatigue, high likelihood of infection!. this could play out over few weeks or several months!.

Hope that helps
