Chicken pox symptoms?!
Question: Chicken pox symptoms!?
My bestfriend just got her chicken pox spots Saturday, but I read that when having the chicken pox you are already infected before you get the spots!. We shared food and been hanging out since last week which would have been when she had them before she got spots!. I've had a really bad headache since Saturday night and Im getting a slight fever, plus my skin looks like it's going to breka out in a rash and Im feeling itchy, even if I don't think about it!. Is it worth getting checked out!? Or should I wait until to see if I get spots!?

Yes it is possbile to get it again if you had it mild the first time or when you were very young!.
Chicken pox starts with a mild fever and feeling unwell for a few days then you get red spots!. The red spots turn into clear fluid filled blisters!. The blisters will burst and they will crust over!. You are infectious from a few days before you get the symptoms and until all the blisters are scabbed over!.
I would wait to see the doctor as even if you do get chicken pox there isnt much to do but wait for them to clear up!. If you do get them try your best not to itch them and try calomnine lotion, anti-allergy medication and a warm bath thats got a handful of oats in it!.
