I used to take this stuff but found out it was poisoning me, Doctors like to prescribe these tablets as they get incentives (bribes) from the drugs companies to do so, they will not admit it as it has gone on for so long they think it is their God given right, also have a look here!.

ya i think it could be a side effect of the ranatidine, i think you are being smart by stopping it but according to your reading you have high blood pressure as it is!.!.!. 132 over 79 is stage I hypertension!.!.!.so it may be necessary for you to take the beta blockers eventually, but you could try working with it yourself!.!.!.!.!. a more natural approach to getting your blood pressure back down to 120/80 or even better would be 110/70!.!.!.!.you could eat healthier excersize moderately a couple times a week and limit your salt intake (salt causes the blood pressure to rise) and drink plently of fluidsWww@Answer-Health@Com

There is no mention at all of raising blood pressure in the full drug data sheet for ranitadine, so it is is very unlikely that this explains your problem!.

there are numerous alternatives to beta blockers for hypertension and many doctors might argue that they are no longer the first line drug for hypertension anyway!.

Go see your GP, advise him that you are feeling sluggish on your beta blocker and are keen to try an alternative!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ranitidene, if my memory serves me right is to counter the effects of that burning sensation in the chest , it is a double dose of Zantac the indigestion pill, it obviously affects you in some way , but if you feel bad side effects from beta blockers go back to doctors and get them changed to something that works , i had to change my pills 5 times till i got some that did not have side affects, HTHWww@Answer-Health@Com

seems like from this it could well do!. take care with stopping the blockers too quickly though, but they really do slow you down!. btw with regard to the ranitidine try knocking bananas on the head for two weeks and see if that helps your symptoms!. (if you eat them)Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes i think it does i had to use it and id never had high blood pressure I did after them thoughWww@Answer-Health@Com
