Question: Is it possible to have allergic reactions to something only in certain areas of your body!?
I tried using baking soda under my arms, instead of deodorant, since deodorant gives me boils!. & I got very irritated with painful, red bumps!. But when I use baking soda with washing dishes (along with dish detergent), taking a bath (along with soap), cleaning up, hand washing my clothes (along with laundry detergent) etc!. I'm fine!.

I don't understand why this is!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You don't have an allergic reaction per se to baking soda!. Classic allergic reactions are dependent on proteins and there are none in baking soda!.
The skin in your arm pits is actually very delicate!. Baking soda is a mild alkali so what's most likely is you've irritated the sensitive skin!. The skin on your hands, by contrast, is much tougher!.

If you're looking for a good deodorant besides the chemical stick stuff, consider mineral salt blocks!. They're sold for that specific purpose!. My wife gets hers at a shop that handles a lot of Kosher stuff!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
