Hi,I am 30wks pregnant and i had 2 go 2the hospital yesterday as i was leaking water!.!.i got an internal exam done and evrythngs fine!.!.thank god! Howerver in my urine sample it showed up that there is protein in it!.!.the midwife said it would b sent away 2 b tested but not 2 worry! My blood pressure was normal and i was sent hme! Does any1 hav any idea wot protein in ur urine means exactly!.!.i cnt help worryn as i had a miscarriage last yr at 8wks!.!.so everythng freaks me out and i thnk the worst! Any help or advice wud b really helpful!.!.thanx!

Generally it means nothing!. It's not uncommon to spill protein here or there into the urine, especially later in pregnancy!. It *can* be a sign of pre-eclampsia, but not always!. If your blood pressure was fine and you're otherwise feeling good, then don't worry about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Protein in the urine can be a sign most commonly of infection!.!.
it can be one of the signs indicating possible pre eclampsia!.!. but in isolation this should not be worried about!.!.!. Since your BP is ok then no hassles!.!. At 30 weeks it is unlikely there are anything bad going on !.!. drink plenty of fluids!.!. stay active!.!.!. relax when you can!.!. and enjoy this time before the sleepless nights start :-) Www@Answer-Health@Com
