Rest, Keep Hydrated!. But if you're anything like me, that won't help, and you'll just always get worse!. So maybe you should go see a doctor!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

stomach bug!. I am soo sorry not the most pleasant of sicknesses!!!

Try and remain hydrated by drinking plenty of water especcially after throwing up and cut your eating down to just plain things like crackers, toast and fruit and drink ginger tea or gingerale as this helps settle the stomach!. If you can stay in bed, but I prefer staying inthe bathroom!. When i had it ages ago it sounds funny lol but I ended up taking a big armchair into the bathroom (as long as you have more than one if you have family about)and tucked myself in with a blanket and some cushions! so I didnt have to be running in and out all the time or throwing up in a bucket which was disgusting!. Obviously I ate outside the bathroom, but I kept the door open and just snoozed in there and rested and the toilet was right there (remember to open the window if you have one in there to let fresh air in)!. But it depends how you are set up at home!.

P!.S the flu I've had over 5 times (twice the year I actually got the bleedin injection for it,), you wake up and think crap can't get up lol you feel weak and exausted (there's no question about sleeping, I slept for three days straight with it) and all blocked up and your muscles ache and if you try to get up you feel dizzy and you go from sweats to cold to sweats to cold!. Lasts about a week or more and it can take from two weeks to a couple of months to fully recover!. Your sickness if it is just a stomach bug will take about 4-7 days to get over and maybe a couple of weeks to get your energy back from!. If you are worried go to the doctor or have a doctor come and visit if you are unable to leave the bathroom!Www@Answer-Health@Com

People with the flu are advised to get plenty of rest, drink a lot of liquids, avoid using alcohol and tobacco and, if necessary, take medications such as paracetamol (acetaminophen) to relieve the fever and muscle aches associated with the flu!. Children and teenagers with flu symptoms (particularly fever) should avoid taking aspirin during an influenza infection (especially influenza type B), because doing so can lead to Reye's syndrome, a rare but potentially fatal disease of the liver!.[88] Since influenza is caused by a virus, antibiotics have no effect on the infection; unless prescribed for secondary infections such as bacterial pneumonia, they may lead to resistant bacteria!. Antiviral medication is sometimes effective, but viruses can develop resistance to the standard antiviral drugs!.

The two classes of anti-virals are neuraminidase inhibitors and M2 inhibitors (adamantane derivatives)!. Neuraminidase inhibitors are currently preferred for flu virus infections!. The CDC recommended against using M2 inhibitors during the 2005
