Question: Does it mean somehting if the creatinine in my urine changes from 25-200!?
Answers:
The other answerers have got confused with the creatinine level in your BLOOD!. When the creatinine level in your URINE goes up, it usually just shows that the urine is more concentrated!. Perhaps the sample with the result of 200 was taken first thing in the morning!? Perhaps you had drunk less that day!? Creatinine levels in urine are nothing to worry about, it's a waste product so it's supposed to be there! It's only when there is too much in the blood that you have to worry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would check with you doctor right away!. High BUN and high creatinine could be kidney disease or blockage of urine from kidneys, high creatinine clearance levels could be caused by strenuous exercise, muscle injury (especially crushing injuries), burns, carbon monoxide poisoning, hypothyroidism, and pregnancy!. Low BUN to creatinine could be associated with a diet low in protein, a severe muscle injury called rhabdomyolysis, pregnancy, cirrhosis, or syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion (SIADH)!.

All sound pretty awful, so again, you should check with your doctor!.

Normal creatinine upper limit is 100, so obviously a huge rise is not a good thing!. Creatinine is a marker of kidney function, and a sharp rise can mean problems with the kidneys!. It's worth checking out, hopefully the person ordering this test can refer you to a nephrologist!. Finding out the reason behind this can limit the damage to the kidneys and prevent future damage!. I am not a doctor by any means, and I do not know what constitutes a "normal" range for creatinine in the urine, but an elevated creatinine could be an indication of a kidney problem!. I would definately consult a doctor just to make sure it's not serious (or take care of it if it is)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

something's not right !.!.!. has your diet changed or any medicine changes!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
