What can I do about vein damage in my legs from Deep vein thrombosis?!

Question: What can I do about vein damage in my legs from Deep vein thrombosis!?
So about three years ago I was diagnosed with a very serious case of DVT at the age of 19 which was caused by a combination of birth control pills and smoking!. I was left with a weaker left leg that I find hideous!. When I try to run I cant go for very long due to my leg and the veins stick out like something awful!. I was wondering if there was anything I could do about the damage the blood clots caused!? Anything at all would be appreciated!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Try a work out plan that focuses on strengthening the affected leg!. Building up the muscle mass in that leg might help to make them both equally strong!. As for the veins, you can try some over the counter creams or lotions to try and reduce the notice-ability of any varicose veins!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you need to ask your doctor, maybe a low dose of asprin would help!? massaging from your foot upwards will help to relieve any water that may be putting pressure on the veins and making it worse than it need be!. Surgical stockings for the leg!? I don't know if it would work but it is worth asking!.Also try google and medical websites for case study outcomes etc!.
Sorry I cannot be of more help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like a question better suited for a
doctor!. I'd make an appointment to address your concerns to him/her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

have you quit smoking yet!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
