i heard about this today for girls aged 12-17 are getting free jags to help prevent cervical cancer anyone else know anymore information about this :) Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes Gardasil (a Vaccine against certain types of HPV) which causes most cases of Cervical Cancer!.!. It's best given to girls before they become sexually active!. It's now being given to all girls ages 12-17!.!.Thank goodness the PC brigade the do -gooders haven't blocked this vaccine!. Many were saying it encourages young girls to have sex! I find it hard to comprehend this attitude!

It was 5-10 year trials; other drugs on the market have had less clinical trials!. It's the whole risk/benefit ratio!. Currently, the benefits are outweighing the rare risks!. The only real concern was the Aluminium content and the fact they can't actually be sure how long immunity last for!.
The chances of one catching HPV are so high, due to the fact both male and females are having sex younger and having more sexual partners!. It is no longer a case of, 'but I only slept with one guy' what about how many girls the guy has had sex with!? Cervical cancer is a silent cancer and one of the biggest killers of females!. Times have changed, we have to roll with it!. Thing is though, you've postponed giving you daughter the vaccine until further tests have been done, by which time she might become sexually active and the vaccine will not be as effective!. Cervical Cancer is one of the biggest killers as I said before!. And with regards to puberty, the vast majority of girls have started puberty before 15!. Also, I do feel, many parents are objecting to this vaccine because it does relate to sex (which it actually isn't HPV isn't just passed on through sex, although the type of HPV that causes C/C generally is) and they feel it is making their, 'little girl' grow up too fast!. (I'm not attacking you dude, I'm just saying what other parents might feel) I don't wish to sound argumentative, I can see your point!. It's just, I for one, cannot begin to imagine the sheer misery of having cervical cancer and what effects it would have on a women, if there is a chance it can be prevented then so be it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The jab is to be given to girls aged 12 (year 8) and dependent on the vaccine manufacturer it will involve 3 or 4 jabs given at set intervals but within the same school year ie within 6months!. The jab protects against Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) which causes most cases of Cervical Cancer!. You can get more information from the Dept of Health website or from your local heath board/primary care trust or if you are in school, your school nurse will be able to give you some more advice/information!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
As far as I'm concerned it is really a bit of an issue, particularly with respect to young school age girls where the Gardasil vaccine is also being promoted strongly!. This vaccination cannot be taken lightly and although it is said to provide protection for upto 85% of HPV, there seems to have been an insufficient length of time (approx!. 5 years) of trials to determine any likely side effects!. This and the fact that the trials where conducted by the manufacturerers themselves (Merck and GlaxoSmithKline) and not an independant body, is of concern in itself! Further the age of the study group was 15 -26 years, and yet it is being promoted to girls under 15 that have yet to reach puberty!. What effect is this likely to have!? Who knows!?

In all it appears that this drug was rushed through before full approval and in fact the FDA have stipulated for Merck to continue the monitoring and long term trial for girls under 15 years to confirm its safety!. For us as parents there is sufficient doubt as to the safety that we postponed getting the vaccination for our daughter, until further studies and information comes to hand!.

Yes its mass genocide!!! Are you aware what is in the vaccine's, all vaccines, Mercury as well as other harmful substances!. The vaccine causes cancer, the specialists actually say that the vaccine is not 100% effective!
