Question: What do you think!? Is it pneumonia!?!?
I've had a horrible cough for over a week now!. It all started with a sore throat and my ears felt stuffed!. My sore throat went away, my ears drained, and I could feel it all draining down my throat!. Now, I've had this cough for over a week and I am really hoarse!. I wake up every morning (for the past 3 mornings now) unable to talk at all!. All that comes out is squeaks and air!. My cough is dry and hacking!. There's no sputum production or anything!. From coughing so much, my throat is starting to hurt again and my chest is really sore!. I don't really have much of a runny nose or anything!. And I've been sneezing off and on!. I talked to the pharmacist that I know and she said that pneumonia and bronchitis are going around in our area!. So, do you think it could be one of those!?!? If so, do I need to go to the doctor!? Or is there something else I can use to help!? If not, do you think it's just a really bad cold that I can't get over!? Or something entirely different!? I've been dealing with the same thing lately!. I had a cold that turned into a cough that has lasted almost 3 weeks now!.
The med clinic doctor I went to told me that it could be due to post nasal drip left over from your cold!. Try taking a combination of sudafed and anti-histamine like benadryl at the same time!.
With the combination of those, I also sleep with a humidifier and it has helped a lot!.
However, if your cough gets worse or lasts longer than what you're comfortable with, you should have a doctor check it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

From my experience, if you are suffering from fever also, then a medicine containing "Erythromycin" would help you!. One comes accross such situations mostly when there is rainy season is going on or if you eat something that contains impure cooking oil or something like that!.
