Anxiety physical symptom question?!

Question: Anxiety physical symptom question!?
Ok, I have an anxiety disorder!.
I am also a major hypochondriac!. I worry about my health and my body all the time!.
I have been going to the bathroom, alot!. Meaning, I get up in the morning, run to the bathroom, and then sit on the toilet for about 20 minutes having major gas and diarreha!. I do this about 6 times a day!. I have went to the doc, and I dont have the flu or any other symptoms!. Can anxiety really do this!? I get really gassy, and its getting to the point where I am afraid to leave home because I am afraid I will end up having a "#2 accident" in public!. Also, when I drink alot of water, I get nauseated!. I didn't used to do this, as I am very prone to bladder infections and I am used to drinking alot of water!. I am also on my period, despite the fact that I am on the depo shot!.
Maybe I am just worrying more than I should!.
Any home remedys for this!?

Also, I have two perscriptions, one for wellbutrin 150 mg and one for zoloft 50 mg!. Which one has less side effects!? I do have a very sensitive stomach and I need to choose a medication for my anxiety that will not upset my stomach, or make me loopy, etc!.

I really, really hate pills!. But i know I need to take something to help me beat this anxiety!.

I want to get out and do things, but I have been living in the bathroom (or close near one) for the last 2 weeks! Help!

(I have been to the doc and he says nothing is wrong that he can tell!.)

Answers:
Potassium deficiency!. You have the exact symptoms, especially the diarrhea and gas!. Depression/Anxiety are a very common effect also!.
The daily recommended intake of Potassium is 3500mg, which almost no average person eats, Im sure you dont eat that much!. You should be taking in at least 1200mg, or about 3 bananas!.
They usually give something called Klor-con for this, which are just 750mg pills of potassium!. You can try yourself by eating a few bananas and some peanut butter throughout the day!. Aim for about 6 bananas and and a few big spoons of peanut butter!. It takes 6 spoons to equal a banana!. The thing is that they also have a great deal of fiber in them, so you will not get completely over the diarrhea immediately, for the first few days youll have unusual stools, but youll be able to control them far better than you could before!. You should be able to hold them for hours instead of minutes!.
You have to eat this much because the body removes the same amount of potassium whether or not you eat more, so you have to build it up to a regular amount before it will be sustainable!.
Apples are also good sources, a small apple is about half a banana!.
You should notice a huge boost in energy, since its also used in the Krebs cycle, which uses glycogen and water combined with potassium to make 2/3rds of the body's energy!.
If this does make you feel better, tell your doctor and he'll give you some klor-con for when you cant get enough!.
Good luck

Not a doctor, but Welbutrin is typically not the first choice when anxiety symptoms are present!. Also, many antidepressants can irritate the GI tract when you first start taking them!. Those side effects may be present with any such medication, you just have to find the one with the help of your doctor that has the best balance of good effects to side effects!. Hang in there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it might be an allergic reaction to something, such as a really bad milk allergy or allergic to soy or even something less common than that!.

!.!.!.!.!.!.!.and regardless on if the doc is right or not, I would go to a different doctor and get a second opinion if I were you because that sort of thing doesn't sound like "there's nothing wrong"Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you have two prescriptions, that means the doctor wants you to take both of them!. i think if we tell you anything about the medication, you will immediately suffer from those ailments since you said you are a major hypochondriac!. so, take your meds, don't check on the side effects, and see if they help you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well if there is nothing the doc can tell i diagnose you with somataform disorder!. this means that you think somethings wrong with you but nothing can be found!.

Stop worrying about what might be wrong with you, that's an obsession and you should not be doing that constantly!. You can make yourself even more sick by dwelling on these thoughts of sickness and illness and worrying about your body!. Wake up everyday and tell yourself you are great and feel great and that nothing is wrong with you!. Anxiety can cause physical symptoms of all kinds!. Pills will treat anxiety but not get rid of the problem!. Ask your doctor if there are any other alternatives!. Exercise often, keep your mind occupied on other things besides your health!. Good luck with the pill issue and get out of the house and do stuff instead of staying inside and worrying all the time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know what you are going through!. I have anxiety, also!. Anxiety does effect your gastrointestinal system!. When i have panic attacks, i get bad gas and burp alot!. Usually, I have to gulp down a heaping tablespoon of baking soda in an 8 oz!. glass of water!. This home remedy helps me release that gas and I feel so much better!.
Furthermore, I had that depo shot when I was on effexor and I didn't like the way it made me feel, so I never got another one! Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi, I used to have anxiety too!. Any type of anxiety meds that you start to take will at first make you feel a little weird, but it will get normal soon!. But also if you are nervous about something all you really have to do to get over your anxiety is to do what your worried about, and once you do it more often you will have no anxiety when doing it!.About the daily #2 visits it is probably just a bug or something hormonal because you have your period, but make sure to see a doctor if it doesn't get better!.
