Question: Would taking a substance to enhance immunity also aggravate an auto immune disorder!?
My mom keeps pushing that beta glucan stuff on me, but I think I feel worse!. Stiffness of leg ligaments and some arthritic pain in my fingers!. What do you think!?!? I haven't been diagnosed with anything except hypothyroidism and vitiligo, but still I wonder about these supplements!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have Hashimotos Hypothyroidism, MS and mild Lupus!. Last year, in January my mum bought me some Olive Leaf Extract to 'enhance my immunity'!.
I ended up with severe gastric reflux, ulcers, abdominal infection for about 5 months, a severe kidney infection, infection in my long thoracic nerve resulting in a brachial plexus neuritis - paralysed muscles in shoulder, a chest infection that bordered on pneumonia!.
I was on antibiotics for about 6 months of the year!.
It wasn't worth it!.
