Gluten intolerance with baked beans?!

Question: Gluten intolerance with baked beans!?
Hi, can you eat baked beans with a gluten and dairy intolerance!?

I have celiac or coeliac with both gluten and dairy issues and am still finding my way!.

Do you know of any site that lists good and dangerous foods and preservatives I could use as a guide!?

The ingredients on this can of 'Corale' baked beans I have here state that it contains navy beans, tomato puree, ham, thickener 1422, flavour enhancers 621, 635,

Think I could eat this!?

Thanks for any help!.

Hey there mate !.!.!.!.!.!. i'm severely intolerant to wheat, yeast, dairy, soy blahblahblah (2 boring 2 tell u all of it) and i've tried eating baked beans and ended up getting a grosse tummy ache from them!.!.!.!.!.!. 621 is Monosodium L-glutamate or MSG and adverse side affects can range from asthma, hyperactivity, depression, mood changes, sleeplessness, nausea, migraines, abdominal discomfort and is also linked to infertility !.!.!.!. 635 is Disodium 5'- ribonucleotides and can cause terrible itchy skin rashes, hyperactivity, sleeplessness, mood changes!.!.!. it's actually banned in some other countries and is very common in Australian foods!.!.!.!. Asthmatics are warned to avoid this additive!.!.!.!.!.!. buddy, 1422 is Acetylated distarch adipate!.!.!.!.!. gawd, cant even pronounce it!.!.!.!.!. actually that's a good rule of thumb, if you can't pronounce it or don't know what it means (particularly with all those intolerances) then it ain't worth the ensuing tummy ache mood swing headache etc!.!.!.!. anyway, i digress, with 1422, animal tests showed slowed growth rates and renal lesions !! a common additive for baby foods too !! Additives in the 100's (food colorings), 220's (sulphites used in packet nuts and seeds and dried fruits to "preserve" them ~ so buy them organic), 320 & 321 (BHA & BHT) all do diabolical things to my delicate tummy and nervous system !.!.!.!.!.!. go get yourself a book called "Additive Alert" by Julie EAdy from your local bookstore and be enlightened!.!.!.!.!. not for the faint of heart though!.!.!.!. it's pretty eye opening some of the information she provides!.!.!.!.!.!. essential though to avoid feeling like a slow moving snail from all the nasties they put in our food!.!.!.!.!.!.!. sooooo, even though i talk a lot!.!.!. to answer your question NO i wouldn't eat it if i were you!.!.!.!.!.!.!. cos then there's that 5% loophole thingie where if the added ingredient is no more than 5% of the finished product they Are Not Obliged In Any Way Shape Or Form 2 Even Proclaim It's In There !! Read the book mate!.

Looks like you can't eat out of a packet mate!.!.!.!. welcome to the club!.

?
Oh, try eating organic brown rice or quinoa (pronounced keen-wah) instead of breads, pastries etc!.!.!. as this will ensure you get plenty of carbs for energy and brain fuel!.!.!.!.!.;0)

organic with rice and quinoa too as they add sulfites to the commercial varieties to "preserve" them !.!. noooo, the ingredients listings on the packets won't tell you that though cos it's prolly less than 5%!.!.!.!.!. believe me, i've tried the commercial varieties and gotten wicked tummy aches!.!.!. only organic with rice, beans, quinoa etc!.!.!.

?

peace baby
