um that's a good question! I have it and i asked my doctor and she said that anything is possible, but its unlikely!. I just wanna know who the hell in their right mind would go swinning and such in the midst of an outbreak!. It seems like that would burn or something!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
No, because the herpes virus is extremely fragile - for a start, it normally only survives a matter of seconds outside the body, to minutes in faviourable conditions!. It is also only passed by skin contact!. The chemicals in a pool or a jacuzzi would kill the virus!.
I go swimming when I have an outbreak, and it doesn't hurt because I only have very mild outbreaks!. No different from someone going in the pool with a cold sore!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

some people can have their out breaks triggered by pools or jacuzzi but its unlikely to get get genital herpes by just swimming in the pool or sitting in the jacuzzi with them!. u would have to have sex with some one who has genital herpes in the pool or jacuzzi in order to get get genital herpes that way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
