Would an x-ray detect a tumor/cancer in the neck?!

Question: Would an x-ray detect a tumor/cancer in the neck!?
or are CT scans, MRI scans and endoscopes supposed to do that!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I'm going through this myself!. I had an xray, which found a "blur" in my head!. That's the best that the doctors would tell me!. I looked at it, and it only looked like a shadow!. So, then I had to get a CT scan!. They did a noncontrast (no dye), and found a mass in the same spot!. So, then it was off to get a MRI (contrast), which localized it and gave it a much better image!. I still don't know what I have (waiting for the results)!.

So, to answer your question, the xray doesn't give you a good image of whats going on in there, but its a start!. Xrays show bone, not soft tissue!. A CT or MRI is the better and more accurate way to go!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

An x-ray will show a tumor/cancer!. I had a tumor on my wrist and it showed up!. On the neck, the DR!. may use a CT or MRI to get a better look at the size of the lump!. They can also use a dye the will really show the location and size better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I went to the ENT because i have 3 small lumps on my neck!. He said the lumps will not show up on a xray, ct scan, or mri if they are the size of a BB or smaller!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

not all the time!. it can help but you have to see an onocologist that is cancer doctor and they can tell by blodo and all sorts of things also!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if it was a large mass it should show up!. if the drs found anything they would do other tests to find out for sure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think soWww@Answer-Health@Com
