Answers:
As someone said, you can simply have a low renal threshold for glucose!. This means that your kidneys start spilling out glucose at NORMAL blood glucose levels, instead of the elevated ones required for most people!.

Basically, while you DO need to get a full glucose tolerance test done (not an a1c, as this is not at all diagnostic of diabetes), chances are, for you, the sugar in urine is symptomatic of something else or just plain old a symptom of nothing at all!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm a type 2 diabetic, Just because a finger test came back normal does not mean you don't have diabetes or the on set of diabetes!. It just means that you weren't high at that time!. I can have a finger test and have it come out completely within normal!. Your blood sugar levels will be high after eating food with high sugar or carbohydrate levels in them!.
You really need to go in for a fasting blood sugar level test!. This is where you fast over night then go to have blood drawn the next morning!. This will tell you how your blood sugar levels have been for the past 3 months!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

a finger prick any given hour on any given day can be normal!.

Ask for a blood draw not a finger prick!. You need to know the HbA1c percentage which is a showcase of the last 3 to 4 months, not a right now photo!.

I can prick my finger an hour after Advair inhalation and my glucose is over the moon! I can prick again mid afternoon and it will be normal!. And what does that show!? Absolutely nothing!.

You need a blood draw for A1c!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Some people have a low renal threshold!.

That means you may be one of those people that pushes out sugar in your urine!. (Put simply!. - Google it)!.

You are probably more susceptible to getting thrush and other yeast infections too, maybe cuts don't heal as quickly!.

It's something you'll have to live with!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same problem!. Don't have any answers for you, sorry!. If you find out please let me know!.
