When to use Mederma or other scar-removal medication after Shingles attack?!

Question: When to use Mederma or other scar-removal medication after Shingles attack!?
I'm thinking of getting Mederma!. I just had shingles almost a month ago on my lower right leg!. So far, most are like small dark brown spots/scabs I guess that looks like it's about to peel off (I can probably peel them off but I'm scared to touch them)

And the other dime-sized scars are like pinkish in color!. Are those not healed yet!?

Can I apply Mederma now!? And to which spots!? Should it be when it's brown or pink or doesn't matter!? Does Mederma work and how long will my scars fade away (or will it!? I am 30 btw)!? Is it advisable to mix medication, like I would apply Mederma, then probably aloe vera (fresh/plant) and then put Vit!. E (the liquid from the capsule)!.

Also I don't have insurance so I can't see a dermatoligist!. So I'd like to hear from someone who has gone through this, and/or someone who has medical knowledge!.

Thank you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
you shouldn't have to check with a dermatologist, you should be able to ask your doctor for that information!.
however, you should wait until the scabs have completely come off and you have the pink new skin underneath before applying the mederma!. If you're concerned then apply it to all the spots!. and mederma worked fine for me when i used it on stretch marks! don't wait too long before using it though!. it should be right after the scabs fall off or it wont work as well!.
good luck! and I'm sorry you had shingles! that's sooo uncomfortable :(Www@Answer-Health@Com

I heard it works!.!.but you have to use it right away and everyday!!! for a couple months!.!.=)Www@Answer-Health@Com
