What is LVEF, and what are good LVEF numbers vs. bad?!

Question: What is LVEF, and what are good LVEF numbers vs!. bad!?
Answers:
It is left ventricular ejection fraction, the percentage of what your heart pumps!. 60-65% is normal and very good!. Sometimes when exercising the EF will increase to 70-80%!. 40-60% is okay, the ventricle may have some damage!. Less than 40% is not good, and the heart is not working at it's full potential!. Ejection fraction can be measured by doing an ultrasound, and can be helped by medications and cardiac therapy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you are asking about left ventricular ejection fractions!. Measured usually by an echocardiogram (sonar of the heart) The force it takes the ventricles to pump blood out!. Below 60 is usually a low reading!. Above 60 is good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
