It sounds as if you may have oral allergy syndrome, which you can read about on Wikipedia: http://en!.wikipedia!.org/wiki/Oral_allerg!.!.!. People who suffer from this often have the hayfever-like symptoms you describe!.

Also, OAS occurs primarily with raw fruits, so you might try eating cooked peaches, if you haven't already!.

People often develop allergies to things they never had a problem with before!. The fact that you love peaches tells me that, in the past, you've eaten them at every opportunity!. It's often the foods we love, and eat a lot of, that we develop allergies to!.

Another issue is the fact that peaches are one of the most pesticide-laden types of produce there are (unless they're organic, of course)!. The thin skin enables the chemicals to penetrate readily into the flesh of the fruit!. Sometimes if a food is moldy, genetically modified, or full of pesticide, our bodies are overwhelmed by the toxic "riders" coming into our bodies along with the food, but ends up reacting to the food by association!.

You can get immunotherapy treatments (http://www!.food-allergy!.org/page2!.html; http://www!.food-allergy!.org/epd!.html) to improve or cure your sensitivity to peaches!. However, if this seems to be your only allergy, it might be a bit of overkill!. In that case, it's best to avoid them if they're causing a reaction!. Sorry! :(Www@Answer-Health@Com

From your description, you are allergic to peaches!. As any other food allergy, the treatment is avoidance!. Immunotherapy does not work for food allergies!. You can become allergic to something you were able to tolerate before!. You could have hayfever symptoms related to other allergens besides peaches!. It would be a good idea to be tested by an allergist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sometimes allergies work that way!. You could not be allergic one time and then overtime get an allergy to it!. Also it may have something to do with the pesticides they use!. Regardless I would stay away from them!. The allergies tend to get worse in time the more you are exposed!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

try avoiding peaches for 2 months and see what happens!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
