Question: End stage renal failure and time line!?

Now, if someone is going to go into end stage renal failure, and no meds are administered to prolong life, what would approximately be the time line until death!? Is there anything that says even one month to several years depending!? He has polycystic kidneys!.

With no treatment, the prognosis is not good, but a timeline is difficult to estimate!. That kind of information needs to come from your doctor!. It depends heavily on the patient himself!.

So far as I know, there ARE no meds for end stage renal failure!. In true End Stage (Stage 5) the only hope is dialysis or transplant!.
