¿Can I live a "normal" life if I've got asma?!

Question:

¿Can I live a "normal" life if I've got asma?

About a week ago, my doctor told me I've got asma, i didnt know I could "suddenly get that", and I'm worried since I don´t know much about it.

Answers:

Oh, will be fine. I was born with asthma. I am now going to be 25 years old and i am living and happy :). If you just developed asthma, then it is probably mild asthma, which means you dont get sick too much. Not a lot of things will trigger it. My mother developed asthma when she was in her 40's, and she is fine. Sometimes you MAY get out of breathe, but thats wat ur inhaler is for. make sure u always keep that with you, and just live and have fun. Wat i was told my my dr. is that if im going to be active in sports, running, anything like that, to use my inhaler twice, then i can be active. That way I wont get an attack. You can live a very normal life! Hope this helps. Be safe! enjoy life!
