Question:

My white blood cell count is 1.8. I'm not sick and haven't been diagnosed with an illness/disease. Why?

Additional blood has been taken and i'm waiting for results. I'm not on any drugs that would cause this. I am nursing a baby. help!


Answers:

The medical name for this is leukopenia. There are lots of causes for this, some of them serious, others not so serious. If you are feeling well then the most likely explanation is a vitamin or nutritional deficiency.
