Question: How to take blood pressure meds!?
I was recently prescribed zestoretic hct 12!.5/10 for high blood pressure of 155/88 I ,m 28 yrs old 10 pounds over weight but have extreme stress in my life right now!.!. what would be the best time to take this med and what side effects can i expect from it also is it possible to ween off of it when i get my life together!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should have asked you GP!. for this information, if you do not want to go to your GP then ask your chemist, or at least read the instructions on the bottle or packet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You take it once a day (unless otherwise specified) with or without food!. Also know, you can not consume alcohol with on this medication!.
You need to strictly stick to the directions!. No excuses!.
As for side effects!.!.!. cough, dizziness, dizziness when standing up, fatigue, headache!.
If you actually faint, stop taking the drug and see your doctor immediately!. With this medication your blood pressure can suddenly drop quite low!. If you skin or eyes become yellowish, stop taking it and see your doctor!.
If you find you are light headed the first few days of the medication, make an appointment to see your doctor!.
Any breathing difficulties, swelling (anywhere in the body!.!.!. including legs and arms) or a hard time swallowing, call 911!.!.!. time to go to the ER immediately!.
Ask your pharmacy more questions and ask for a print out on the medication!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
