Is there anything we can do about this??
My grandfather who is 73 was diagnosed with Cancer of the pancreas 1 month ago.
He has several scans on the NHS (National Health Service) that didn't detect anything so he payed to go private he had a scan that showed a tumor that hadn't spread on his pancreas.
He had a biopsy but when he went for his results he was greeted by an embarased surgeon who said they'd lost them.
This was bad enough but after this happened he had not been told that the biopsy could infact spread the cancer.
He had not been given a proper consultation this hospital has been in total chaos for a long time my grandmother got MRSA in there and when I was born my mother had to sleep on a matress in the middle of a ward
this is called playing with life and death what do you think??
Answers:
I think Caveat Emptor. Knowing what you do about this hospital why you would continue to go there for care is beyond me. At the very least a complaint should be lodged with JCAHO, the Joint Committee for Accreditation of Hospital organizations.
