His high blood pressure is a sign to watch very carefully!. You can help him by changing his diet to avoid salt, include green vegetables and fish (salmon, sardines, tuna)!. Avoid processed meats (luncheon loaf, bologna, potato chips, corn chips)!. Add a banana to his daily diet and 6 walnut halves!.

He should drink chamomile tea, without sugar!. He should also drink water every day (room temperature if possible)!.

The other thing that helps is taking an aspirin (81 mg) every day!.

For exercise, he should walk 45 minutes a day!. Start slowly, if he can only do 1/2 hour, that's a start!.

You must also take care of yourself!. It won't help if you get sick too!.

And, get him some fish oil (omega-3 pills)!. These will help to boost his heart health!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What tests did he have come back positive!? If he is undergoing treatment for the symptoms that can be done at home there is no reason for him to stay in the hospital!. They would be monitoring his blood pressure and would known if it is improved!. He should also have had a cardiac work up!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I do hope he got some prescriptions for high blood pressure and some orders to change his dietary habits and exercise habits!. that is stroke level and the problems you took him in with indicate a major heart event!.

I should think they would refer him to a heart clinic for care as well!.

Much good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Is he under the care of a doctor!? Is he on SERIOUS blood pressure medication, and is he taking it EVERY day!? If not, you need to take him straight from the hospital to a general practitioner for a full physical!. Best of luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If the doctors certified him as OK then i think yu shouldn't worry too much!. If u are still in doubt about their diagnosis then you should go to a heart specialist who should be able to clear all your doubts!.
Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
