Mitral valve prolapse?!

Question: Mitral valve prolapse!?
Okay here is my deal, i started having a racing heart out of the blue one day and my pulse was 167 i was freaking out, which also didn't help the racing heart, that was about two years ago, i have been to three different doctors on said i have mitral valve prolapse one said i have nothing wrong with me and the other said it could be only the symptoms of mitral valve prolapse, sometimes i get dizzy and sometimes i feel like i cant breathe and i get VERY nervous! my face and ears get really hot and burning and my pulse is irregular and then it will go away after a little while and ill be fine, it mostly happens in the afternoons!.
In a way i think its anxiety attacks but how can i be sure!? I have already been to doctors and they put me on medicine to control my racing heart but it made me feel worse than not taking it so i told my doctor i quit taking it!. he said take it only when i need it now!.

this whatever it is has kept me from doing alot of things that i want to do, like i am scared to be alone cause something might happen to me, or i'm scared to go on road trips cause something might happen and there wont be a hospital near!. i know these are stupid things to think and there was a time when i wasn't like this, how do i get back to being normal and do you think i should be worried about having a heart attack or my heart exploding or quitting on me!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I suffer from MVP!. It will cause you to have panic attacks!. I would go see a psychiatrist and have him put you on a medication that relaxs you and an antidepressant which will make you feel good!.
Also ask your doctor if you can continue taking the medication to slow your heart rate down!. He has probably got you on propanol, which is a beta blocker!.
I am taking Klonopin, Prozac and Propanol, and doing awesome!.
Your heart is not going to stop on you, nor will it explode!.

You could try seeing a therapist, be it a psychologist, psychiatrist, or just a counselor!. Maybe you have underlying issues causing anxiety, because that's what it sounds like!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Had any of the doctors done a ultrasound of your heart!? This could help confirm mitral valve prolapse!. It could also be a form of a tachacardia, see your doctor (or a new doc) if yours is dismissing your concern!.

There is also a chance it could be agoraphobia (panic attacks) on top of the anxiety!. Stress can play a major role too, thats why fast heart-rates are such a pain in the butt, because there are a number of things that could cause it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
