I might be a hypochondriac but this is strange....?!

Question:

I might be a hypochondriac but this is strange....?

Yesterday, sorta suddenly, my throat started to hurt (mainly when I swallowed or yawned). But not like a sore throat, more of like a gland (a lymphnode I think it is). And it was only on the right side about an inch above my collar bone. It didn't continue all day, but today something else happened. I woke up very sore in my back, I assumed it was just the way I was sleeping. But gradually over the day the soreness "spread" and now where my legs connect to my pelvis are sore like I've been riding a horse a long time. I haven't done a ton of walking or anything to be sore, what's going on?

Answers:

The lymph nodes are designed to respond to infection of all kinds, they deliver the white blood cells throughout your body which locate the source of the illness and work to eliminate the source of your sickness. However, inflamed lymph nodes can be a sign of so many different issues. I would suggest you visit your physician so that you can be examined and properly diagnosed, the range of possibilities is to vast to speculate on, but a simple trip to the doctor will give you the peace of mind that the root cause is likely nothing serious.

One quick question, is there a chance that you have been bitten by a deer tick, do you see any bullseye patch anywhere on your body?

Its the season for Lyme disease and what you described could be just that

see your doctor.
