How long for blood pressure tablets to work?
i have been put on blood pressure tablets this was my 3rd day but there is no diferance , my readings were always over a hundred on the bottom and my pulse was always about 120, my pulse has dropped down to the 80s but my blood pressure is still high, have felt sick since taking them.

it has been getting monitord by the docs for 3 weeks now had to do a 24hr one at home, they have told me to keep a record at home as well as them doing it each week. dont know how long it takes for tablets to work???? im due an operation next mounth so need to get it down.

normally you gotta give any meds two weeks to kick in.if you still feel sick after that time go back to the doc an change em .Read the leaflet that come wiv em an it will give you all the side effects and how long they take to kick in. Wish you well anyway
