I've had this mole for 22 years.?

I've had this litte dark brown flat mole on my stomach since I was born and just now I had an itch... I scratched and said "Ouch!". I realized I was scratching the mole only now it's raised a little and there is a pink ring that is barely visible around it. Is that just from scratching just now or is this something I should worry about?

You should have any new moles or any changes to previous moles checked out. However, since you remember noticing the changes only after you scratched yourself it most likely only a result of that. I would wait a few days and see if it heals up. If it does then I would wait until my next dr appointment and mention it then to be sure. If it does not heal up in a few days or gets worse, I would make a special appointment to get it checked out.
