Question: Hydrocephalus, can it cause someone to slip into a coma!?
a few months ago my great uncle went in and got some fluid removed from his brain because he had too much!. and it was effecting his memory and stuff!. he couldnt even remember his own name!. i've researched a little and i know its called hydrocephalus!. they gave him a bunch of medicine and it started to get better so they thought he was going to be fine!. he went i the other day to get checked up on and stuff and he went into a coma!. i was wondering what would cause it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, water on the brain could have made him slip into a coma!. It could also be a combo of the medications depending on what they are but it sounds more likely that the hyrocephalitis might have done it!.
