It is going to be a raised up bump for 2 days, usually!. If it becomes larger than say a dime, you could have!. You'll know within 48-72 hours!. Chill!. It could just mean someone who had it was around you, not necessarily that you have it!. There are false positives anyway!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If it's raised at all, they'll call it positive!.
I've had false positives before because I'm allergic to phenol, one of the ingredients in the shot!. My allergist said I can take benedryl or any other allergy medicine and motrin to avoid a false positive!. He also advised putting hydrocortisone cream and/or baking powder paste for the redness/itchiness!.
I know they say don't put anything on the test until it's read, but my allergist said these meds won't effect an actual immune response!.
Good luck!. If it happens a lot, see if you can get a blood test (more accurate) instead of the PPD!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you're foregin you probably had a TB vaccine when you were born!.!.!.which builds antibodies!.!.!.!.!.so if your come across someone who has active form of TB your body would be able to fight it!.!.!.so the test comes out positive that means you have the antibodies for it!.!.!.!.in the US they don't give us a TB vaccine b/c they're afraid that the TB might become active!. so they don't think it worth it!.!.!.!.you can also get medication to get rid of any TB inactive particles you have in your body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
doesn't look like it!. If it goes down more, then you are ok!. If it gets larger, then!.!. infection!. Don't put anything on it or lay on it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I can't judge from the pic but I can tell you mine come back positive but with further testing I am negative so try not to stress over it!. Best of Luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Postive for what!? A shot will not give you a diese, or go back to "Da" doctor to ask!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Nope redness occurs at the injection site!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's not really readable for 48 hours, but so far it looks ok!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
