Question: Is it true that heart monitors "record" cell phone calls!?
My father-in-law is wearing a heart monitor and he was told by a nurse that the cell phone would cause interference with the monitor and it would cause the monitor to not only record his heartbeats but his phone conversations as well!. I think that this is not true but can someone give me some scientific evidence to back this up please!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

omg lmao!!!! heart monitors have nothing with which to record sound, while an older model cell phone can indeed interfere with a strong signal creating what we call "artifact" in the recording of the heart's electrical activity!.!.!.it cannot be recorded, like a tape recorder!.!.!.that's just ridiculous!. The newer model cell phone frequencies are set such that they almost never interfere with medical devices anymore!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
