Can someone help me identify this rash?!

Question:

Can someone help me identify this rash?

Ok I have a strange rash on the back of my right hand. I live in NH and I did some weeding like a week ago. It showed up on my hand a day or so after that. It only itches when I touch it and it's slowly spreading by itself, and somehow made its way to my other hand yesterday. As far as I know I'm not allergic to poison ivy neither was there any in the garden I was weeding. I'm really confused... it just started out as little shiny bumps. There are 10 bumps on my right hand... when I noticed it there were 5. There is only 1 bump on my left hand. There is a 3 month waiting list for my dermatologist! Someone help!

Thanks to everybody who replied... i was looking at some pictures on Google and it looks a lot like some of the allergic dermatitis pictures. I think I'll wear gloves next time I'm outside. Thanks again

Answers:

I have that too, seems common this summer
My Dr said ALOT of people are getting itchy rashes lately
I have it on my hands too, I get it every summer.
this year has been bad. my fingers itch and it turned into scaly dry patches, my dr said its either a allergy rash or Eczema. or a little bit of both! I know it was itchy and unsightly

I think mine started as allergies. like every year.
taking benadryl seems to help a bit..also im using a topical called Lidex on my hands. I started using yesterday.
its helping already! the patches are smoothing and it itches less. its a cortisone so u have to keep it away from the face.
try benadryl and if its not better, go ask your dr for Lidex
if you have a primary DR he can prescribe it.
good luck!
