Have Anorexia & Bulimia disorders always been around?!
Question: Have Anorexia & Bulimia disorders always been around!?
or have they recently been diagnosed to people because of fad diets and people wanting to be thin like in the magazines!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
Possibly!? If so, it probably wasn't as common!.
In the past obesity used to be a sign of wealth; Being fat was probably a status symbol, so it wasn't a negative thing like it is today!. Anyways, most people probably couldn't afford to be fat to worry about eating disorders in the first place!. Back in the days, people had to work hard to eat, and it was probably just enough to keep them feed!.
And in the past models weren't so skinny!. Look a people like marylin monroe; a hour glass figure used to be very desirable!. I think 'Skinny" became in during the 1960s with Twiggy the supermodel!. From then on 'Thin' became in!.
It weird how things changed!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
