I was at my friends house, and usually I am afraid of her dog, but I told myself I was going to be brave. So he comes into her room and I try to pet him and he bites me. They are two small bites, not really deep but it bled not a lot, but not a little. I started healing that night I noticed. The first thing my friend did was lock the dog up, she put paroxyide on it and neosporing and put a band-aid on it. Then I come home that night and cleaned it again. My mom is schdueling a doctors appointment, but who knows when it will be. My friend and her mom said I will be ok the dog got all its shots. Will I be ok or will I die from rabies. I'm really afraid.

You will only get rabies if the dog has rabies. Have your mom call your friends mom to confirm that the dog has had its rabies shot. If it has, then no worries. And it sounds like you cleaned the wound well. ( bites from humans are far more likely to cause infections than dog bites). congrats on being brave, i hope your future dog encounters are more friendly.:)Of course, always be wary of strange dogs( you may not be able to confirm their shot history if you are bitten).
