Any food can trigger an attack!. My son suffered from this condition, and had to have his gall bladder removed!. Keep him on bland, no sugar added foods!. Try some brown basmati rice with things like softened onion and flat parsley leaves in it!. He should stay away from beef and ham because it's stringy and overworks the kidneys and liver in an attempt to eliminate the food!. If he's really on the outs, try pureed baby foods like the fruits, veggies and chicken or turkey!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh, My!! the suggestions leave me scratching my head!! If I were to eat apple sauce or oatmeal my glucose would go through the roof!!

I recommend soup, like home made types, broths from bullion cubes and veggie soups, so you can limit the amounts of fats that go into it!. You can do this and still keep it on a low salt basis!. Just water a bullion enough to dilute the salt in it and add some nice tomatos or something!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try ground turkey!.!.!.Honeysuckle 93 % lean!. Very low fat, no carbs!. Cook it like ground beef and some spices he likes!. I eat it all the time and thru diet and exercise have lost 65 pounds in 6 months!. Also, try using low carb tortillas!. Mi Mamia or Mama Lupes brands are good!.!.!.use them for wraps or sandwiches!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

generally you want to give him something very light!. you can almost treat the diet as post stomach virus!. so serve nothing that would irritate the gastrointestinal tract, no spicy food, something bland and water based (i!.e oatmeal)!. hope this helps :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
