You could be infected by just having sex with an infected person once!. It can take up to 3 months for antibodies to HIV to show up on tests, and in rare cases, it can take up to 6 months for them to show up!. Once you are infected, you can pass the virus on to other people, even before you test positive!. All it takes is an HIV virus inside your bloodstrem and then you will get HIV instantly!. Their is no cure, but their are ways to minimize your risk:
