Underactive thyroid, will I go back to normal???!

Question: Underactive thyroid, will I go back to normal!?!?!?
I have just been diagnosed with an underactive thyroid, which went undetected for quite a while!. I developed the typical characteristics, such as dry hair, brittle nails, and my facial features also changed slightly, due to puffiness!. I haven't started treatment yet, as I am waiting for blood results to come back!.
When I am established on the treatment, will my symptoms disappear (especially the facial changes) as I now look older than I did, and my features have hardened!?!?!?!? Obviously, I am concerned about this, as I would like to feel attractive again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
