Is it possible to avoid kemo therapy after surgery?

Do you think that if the cancer is found soon enough that the surgery can eliminate the cancer cells without having to go through therapy?

it is frightening to know that there many be a small cancer cell that it can expand somewhere else if not treated.

Although you can refuse chemo, I wouldn't. Even if the surgeon is 99.9% sure he "got it all" chances are there is one tiny, tiny cell that got away. Believe me, I know: Eight years ago I had breast cancer--chemo got so hard on me I stopped before finishing the doctor's recommended rounds. Three months ago I found out that that tiny, tiny cell is now causing bone cancer. Now, I am taking chemo pills. So please, listen to your doctor ... there have been many advances in cancer treatment. Don't chance your cancer coming back when you least expect it like I did. Good luck and God bless!
